cultural activities at ASAN

In ASAN we did many korean cultural activities such as mirror making, tofu making, mask making, rice cake making and also korean traditional wedding.

this is the mirror which i made ^_^

tofu making is really fun as we have to grind the bean and then boil it. after that its water is extracted and finally tofu is made out of it.
this is the grinder for bean.

here i am doing the job (grinding the bean). beans with water are added and it is rotated counter clockwise to make paste.

now the lady is boiling the paste we made after grinding.

after boiling the water contents are extracted leaving the residue alone :)

after this activity we went for lunch and having this tofu (we made) in lunch made us to feel proud :) we also made mask, this is also Korean tradition.

another activity was to make sweet potato at night. for this we have to fire the woods to make coal then we placed potatoes on them.

we also made some sort of green tea in traditional way.

this is really fun to make rice cake. we have to hit hard to boiled rice to make it sticky.

finally some friends did activity of Korean traditional wedding. :)
