Enjoying sliced raw fish in Jeju's open kitchen

The first place for lunch that we, NTNK jeju tewo riders, found is located in the traditional fish market. Muslim can’t eat pork, hindu cant eat cow so tewo riders team decided to go to the place which is acceptable for all, the fish market.

In addition we went to the local street market in jeju and talked to local vendors and listen to the stories of the island about fish. The first merchant we met was working for 3 decades. We were introduced with the chocolate made by really famous citrus (oranges) of Jeju-do. They gave chocolate as a gift to tewo riders.

Traditional Tewo boat riding and fishing experience

New Thinking New Korea (NTNK) Jeju team 2 ‘Tewoo Riders’ had a wonderful experience on western coast line at Hallyum Village. It was a wonderful experience after with foreigner nationals to do boating and fishing. The weather was little cool but very much refreshing. I must state here that the breeze of Jeju-do was certainly different form the other part of world. It was quite as well as we could not see hardly anybody to disturb our fishing. The place where we visited is 30 to 40 minutes drive from main city of Jeju.

Gwangju World Music Festival 2011

A Music Festival To Remember

here i am going to tell about my experience to gwangju world music festival where i met many new people and had a very nice trip of future cultural hub of asia. i visited many places and enjoyed music from across the globe.
this tour was organized by ministry of culture and tourism. it was a 2 day 1 night trip. gwangju is famous for its traditional reasons but it is now going to be the hub city of asian culture by 2023.  for further details on it you can visit
facebook.com/cultureasia2023
the start of this trip was interesting as i have to leave my home at 8:30 to reach the meeting point on time but unfortunately i left sleeping till 8:25 when my friend called me to come on bus station to leave together to the meeting point. OMG i had just 5 min, i did everything in just 10 min and ran out of my room. finally i reached the meeting point just 5 min late but i was not the last person to join the group. :)
this is the picture of bus where two of the organizers are telling us about the two day schedule.

here is our extremely comfortable bus :)

when we reached there at gwangju they took us to demonstrate about their new project of hub city, here are few pictures showing it.

just outside the place, there was flea market where you can buy old good but in good condition for recycling of items.

here we went to see the construction of the new asian cultural hub. it is really a very big project and really seems a city and it was totally underground. they also tell us about the importance of the place and the construction completion time.

afterr this demo we went for dinner and we also met an official from ministry of culture and tourism. and he gave everyone a nice gift. :)
 and i love gifts ;)

she is really cute and she spread smile on our face.

after dinner we went to two different places to enjoy global music. here is one of them from cuba, they were amazing as usual and they made everyone to dance. here i have few pictures of the stage and the artists.

at night we also went to enjoy another music, rock music. it was not a big place but we were very close to the artists and singers. we really did dance there and enjoyed a lot. you can see us dancing in pictures below ;)

you can also find a video about this performance on my facebook page t this link :)
https://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=2273219066616

as expected the rooms which were given to us, were amazing. rooms were quite big having all types of necessities. when i founfd the computer i just shouted WOW and within 5 min i was on the computer using facebook. you can see me in one picture using facebook ;)

Next day we have plan to go to two places, one is magic road. there we can find lot of tall trees on both side of the road. the people of gwangju think that these trees can help you prevent cancer. it wass really nice place and i took many pica with my new friends.

next place that we had visited was bamboo park. i had never seen bamboo before so it was kind of new thing for me. we all went for a walk through this park and enjoyed talk and took many pictures too. the guide was an old woman but it make me surprised that she was really good at English (not all Koreans are good at English).

me (left side with cap) with my friend (right side with glasses).

now let me show you some pics of the place where we ate our lunch on 2nd day. it wasa great place and had a nice view. lunch was also great just like the place. :)

i also tried to play some music on piano. i was terrible but still i can say that i played piano ;)

this is all about my experience on this trip. i hope you can get some idea about the beauty of gwangju.
